In 2005, WebMD Professional Publishing decided to split the unified online "entrance" in two medical libraries into two separate ones - one for ACP Medicine (the official textbook of the American College of Surgeons), and the other one forACS Surgery (the official textbook of the American College of Surgeons), as well as split out much of the information that was
linked previously in multiple links from the 2004 home page and move it to separate secondary informational sites for "visitors". A sample of such a site you see on your right.
